The Studio

The studio is a new purpose built rehearsal and recording facility with a spacious 40 square metre live room, a fully equipped control room and linked vocal booth. All the rooms allow for natural daylight and windows that allow visual contact

The Live Room

The Live room has open views across the croft and down Loch Fyne and has been tastefully set out to make the musicians and bands feel right at home. The floor is Olive ash and was chosen specificlly for the live room. The combination of the hardwood floor, rugs and curtains give the live room a special, warm yet lively sound,particularly suited for that 'live band' sound. The live room is equipped with all the gear a band would need for a regular band practice including full drum kit, 8 channel powered mixer, guitar amps, microphones and stands. There is also a 16 track digital recording unit that can be used for laying down tracks or recording demos from the live room. Custom made wall plates are fitted in 3 locations in the live room allowing for 12 TRS jack, and 20 XLR signals to be sent to the control room and 6 headphone returns to the live room for musicians foldback.

The Control Room

At the heart of the control room is a Soundcraft Ghost 24 track in line analogue mixing console. We are constanly adding to our equipment list, presently the tracking and recording setup is as follows:
